Hmm... the picture is a little too small for something so detailed =/
I might post the full size thing later. Would make a nice desktop pic I think.
I really love titans, so I think I make a jungle titan next. I love how the Wild Growth titans look, so I might be making a variation on that concept. I'll be sure to scan in every step of my work so you can see how I make these pieces.

( EDIT: )

By popular request, here is the hires version of the picture:

Titan Molten Core Hi-res

(For those who were in need of a new desktop picture. ^)

As you can see, even at a high resolution the picture remains incredibly detailed. You can see now see the texture of the stone skin very accurately.

I'll also show my process of making these pictures from now on, starting with a simple pencil sketch:

I always start of with a very basic pencil sketch. In this case I've decided to make a variation on the Wild Growth, which I call the Vile Growth. The picture is quite simple, because I add in all the fine details later with a ballpoint, which takes between an hour, and ehm... more hours, depending on the size of the art-piece.

Correct. But I also tend to include such silly details just for the keen of eye. I'm always curious how many people actually spot it.

These ideas seem really proffessional, i would love to fight monsters like these, especially since Guild Wars is largely devoid of those trully epic, huge creatures which have their own small continent to live on. Can you imagine if that thing was twice the size of a normal titan! Can't wait for the Evil Hedge one next

Martian, that thing looks like it's about 50 times the size of a normal titan. At least.

Next I trace the pencil sketch with a simple ballpoint pen. This is kind of where I decide what details I want to keep. In this case I decided to alter the way the hind-toes are positioned, and I also added a few more details such a little leafs on the outside. I don't erase the pencil lines however. My old art-teacher used to tell me that the worst thing ever invented, was the eraser. Basically it makes people scared to make mistakes. But it is better to leave in the mistakes, and just draw over them. It prevents you from ending up in an hourlong battle with the eraser trying to get the picture right. Besides, I can erase annoying lines in Photoshop later on.

Next up is adding the details with the same ballpoint. In other words, a serious case of RSI waiting to happen.

Nice, i like that man, you should add in bones around his feet and like a set of assassin daggers stuck in his inner most hind leg

Basically I could add detail to any sketch, just post it and I'll have a look at it.
